An App That Remembers for You, part 1 of 3

July 3, 2020 · Leave a Comment

Sometimes, our brains can be forgetful, and sometimes, important objects get up and walk away like they have a mind of their own. Luckily, technology can help in those moments when we can’t find what we need.

Find The Things You Lose Every Day With Tile

Tile is probably the most ubiquitous locator gadget on the market. The Tile device uses bluetooth technology to connect to your phone with the Tile app. Then, you can add a Tile tracker to all of your most important belongings — your keys, your wallet, and even your dog or cat. If you lose your important item, the app can cause the tracker to beep (which is perfect for finding your lost remote control between the couch cushions) and show you the address where it was last detected (in case you left your wallet at the office). Furthermore, for those of us that lose our phone regularly, the tracker device has a button that pings your cell phone when pressed, saving you the time and hassle of the hunt.

P.S. “Brighten” your day with these tech ideas for improved lighting.
