When the sun is shining, it’s time to get out and experience the things that can illuminate every spot of your life. Try one or all of these ideas for using the sunshine to brighten your days and lift your mood.
Take a bike ride through Cherokee Park, the Parklands at Floyds Fork or any other beautiful, scenic area. It’s a fun and relaxing way of enjoying nature while getting in a good workout.
Plant and tend to a garden.
Pack a basket of food and drink for a nice picnic in the Waterfront Park. Top off the day with walking across the Big Four Bridge for dessert at one of the Indiana bakeries.
Sit on a bench and cool down with a refreshing dessert from Gelato Gilberto in Norton Commons. The refreshing taste of their gelato flavors will make you smile.
