3 places you can pick up a delicious, handmade dinner – and avoid cooking!

August 14, 2013 · Leave a Comment

Some nights, we just don’t want to cook. There’s always the option of eating out or eating leftovers, but sometimes a pick-up order can be just the thing. We did our research and picked out three local favorites for fresh food, no preparation required.

The Fresh Market has so many options. They have a variety of sandwiches that come with a side, convenient meals and salads, all of which is fresh and ready to go — not to mention affordable!

Jay C Food Store has all your comfort food favorites. They offer the One Person Plate, which comes with one entrée item, two side dishes and a roll for $4.99. If you are looking for something a little lighter, they have a great salad bar. Did we mention the fried chicken is delicious?

Paul’s Fruit Market offers delicious sandwich options. You can choose from a variety of meats and cheeses with all the fixin’s. If you aren’t in the mood for a sandwich, they have Three Compartment Meals that consist of an entrée and two sides. Keep in mind that you can order online and get your food delivered!

These Louisville favorites can cook up your favorite foods to go. Dinner doesn’t have to be complicated – it can be as easy as a phone call away.

Read more about these food options in our current issue – page 8.
